I created this website as a way to raise awareness of mental illness, especially OCD and related disorders, in the world and especially in churches and other spaces of faith. OCD_Lemmonaide is a word play using my married name, Summer Lemmon and the phrase, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." You have to admit that my name is cute and fun to work with! The lemons are OCD (and can represent any other physical health challenge, really) and the "-aide" at the end of the phrase represents help. The logo was created by my wonderful friend, Erika McCoy, a fellow IOCDF Advocate and also a Christian with OCD! You can find her Linktree with all of her advocacy work here.
